Prototyping and Structural Evaluation
A new licensed fragrance inspired by Frida Kahlo was developed in collaboration with Fantasy Fragrance as part of a licensed brand program.
The project focused on the development of a complete packaging system, including concept definition, bottle and cap selection, structural design, and the integration of licensed illustrations provided by Frida Kahlo Corporation.
The objective was to create a production-ready packaging solution that translated the brand’s identity into a cohesive physical experience while meeting functional and manufacturing requirements.
Prototyping and Color Evaluation
Packaging Dielines
As the fragrance took shape, the packaging design process evolved through hands-on exploration and iteration. Beyond visual aesthetics, the focus was on creating an immersive sensory experience by engaging touch, sight, and scent through intentional contrasts of color, texture, and materiality.
Multiple packaging concepts were explored through sketching, renderings, color studies,
and physical prototypes. Reusability played a key role in the design approach,
ensuring that the final packaging could live beyond its initial function as a fragrance container and exist as an art-inspired object aligned with Frida Kahlo’s expressive legacy.
Color System Development
Scalable packaging system developed for a licensed fragrance program.
Applied consistently across multiple variants using a single structural dieline.
Designed to balance functionality, brand expression, and reusability.
