Burberry Retail Backwall

Project Overview

Industry: Luxury Beauty & Fragrance Retail
Scope: Retail Fixture Design
Role: Retail Designer

Retail renderings, technical drawings, production-ready artwork,
and material specifications for brand approval and production

The Burberry fragrance collection was originally displayed in a generic retail backwall that didn’t reflect the brand’s visual identity.

The goal of this project was to adapt the existing fixture to Burberry’s global visual merchandising standards while maintaining its original footprint, creating a stronger and more immersive brand presence.

The initial concept followed Burberry’s classic black retail aesthetic. After the global review process, the design evolved to align with the brand’s updated visual merchandising direction, resulting in a lighter color palette while maintaining the same fixture and overall layout.

Following global approval, detailed technical drawings and production-ready files were created to guide fabrication and installation.

The retail mock up (on the left) helped visualize the final concept before production, while the completed installation (on the right) shows the finished result.

Outcome

  • Successfully transformed a generic retail fixture into a branded retail environment.

  • Aligned the retail space with the brand’s global visual merchandising standards.

  • Delivered production-ready artwork and technical documentation for fabrication.

  • Supported the project from concept development through final installation.
